This has been the most versatile hydration pack I have ever used. I have taken it hunting, on day hikes, skiing, to outdoor events, and in urban settings. It has performed very well in every environment. It has traveled with me to Ecuador, Germany, Ireland, Canada, and all over the US. The digital desert camo doesn't look out of place in any setting. The cargo pocket was extremely convenient for carrying my HD Video camera and the adjustable strap system prevented any swaying or banging, yet easily slipped off one shoulder as I boarded buses, trains, or slid into booths or chairs. I also found the main compartment the perfect size for my small travel laptop. Rather than leave my computer in the hotel when traveling, I would remove the water bladder and carry the laptop and video camera. There was room for the computer and a partially filled bladder, but I didn't want to risk condensation or water damage. The top, outer pocket was idea for a cell phone, iPod, snacks, business cards, and pens.
There were a few times when I wished I'd had a larger bag, but for the vast majority of the time, I found the size to be ideal. It is never too heavy, and it fits so well that even on the hottest days, it is easy to forget that you are wearing it. While hunting on wet mornings, it also made an excellent pillow for my nap.
High quality, versatility, good looks, and a perfect size for 90% of your needs.
